Mother’s Day in the US is next week and here are a few items you could consider as a gift. There are many ways to show care on Mother’s Day that also don’t require you to spend any money at all.

But first, I wanted to let you all know that in between posts on Substack, I have been using the Notes feature to share things I’ve found or am researching that may appear (or not) in a future post. Lovepop makes some of the coolest cards. I discovered them in NYC a few years ago and they have been my go to cards for birthdays and more.

I purchased this many years ago for my wife, and this is one of the best technology purchases I’ve made as a gift. It’s quiet and well designed.

Luna London Makeup Mirror

Lora has long since had a Simple Human makeup mirror that gets daily use. It’s cordless and has done an excellent job for many years. Lately I ran across the Luna Orbit, and it looks like a huge upgrade.

On a recent vacation I noticed a cool thermal straw cup made by Created. What impressed me about this cup is that it’s leakproof. You can turn it upside down and liquid stays inside.

It’s a great size to keep on your nightstand if you wake up thirsty.

Kindle Paperwhite

The new Kindle Paperwhite is pretty great. Maybe time to upgrade an aging Kindle with new features and technology?

I like that the new Kindle has USB-C charging, wireless charging and updated lighting.
